Sabo Española is a family-owned company founded in 1986 with two distinct business areas: designing, manufacturing, and selling fire-suppression hardware; and formulating, manufacturing, and selling chemicals for the leather and fur industries. Its firefighting equipment focuses on foam systems, with a broad range of standardized products and technical references.

Products and Specialties

The company manufactures and sells equipment for foam fire-suppression systems in several product families:

• Proportioners (SE-Z, SE-ES, and SE-VZ models)
• Atmospheric and bladder foam-concentrate tanks (SE-A-PE, SE-DA, SE-MXC, SE-MIX, SE-WRM, and SE-HYD series)

Sabo Española also publishes technical documents, including 2025 guides to transitioning to fluorine-free foam agents and designing foam systems that use fluorine-free concentrates.

Company History

Since its founding in 1986, the company has added products and capabilities. It introduced a bladder tank in 1987, the Minosse volumetric dosing system in 1989, and its first remotely operated monitor in 1994. In 1997, it added the FireDos volumetric dosing system. In 2002, it opened a new office in Montcada i Reixac, near Barcelona. It established corporate agreements with companies including CAMPSA (1990), REPSOL (2002), and SIEMENS (2007), and received GOST approval for the Russian market in 2012. The company says it has manufactured all the equipment in its catalog since 2008.
