Proyecto Origen
A Valencia-region project restoring historic farmhouses, recovering vineyards, and regenerating the inland Mediterranean landscape.
About Proyecto Origen
Farmhouses, vineyards, and landscape in inland Valencia
Proyecto Origen combines heritage restoration, rural renewal, and environmental regeneration in inland Valencia province. It began as a personal project of Manuel García-Portillo and expanded into work in the Valle Ibero de Moixent and the landscapes of Fontanars dels Alforins, restoring historic farmhouses, rescuing neglected vineyards, and regenerating the inland Mediterranean landscape.
Main activities
- Restoration of historic farmhouses and rural heritage.
- Regenerative viticulture and recovery of forgotten vineyards.
- Wine production under the Dominios de MGP label.
