USA Group is a Spanish manufacturer of high-precision machined parts and gears, specializing in bar turning and custom components. It designs, develops, and produces complex parts for automotive, appliance, and electric-mobility industries, including hydraulic systems, engine components, electronic instruments, gears, and precision shafts.

Capacity and scale

The group operates seven production plants and more than 100 state-of-the-art lathes. It produces approximately 300 million parts a year and handles production runs of up to 5 million units. The company reports 450 employees, 1,700 active projects, and revenue above €95 million. International exports account for 80% of sales.

Founded in 1965 as Ugarteburu, a bar-turning specialist, USA Group has expanded to include six companies:

USA Group has sales offices in Spain, Germany, Mexico, and Singapore, and serves customers in countries including China, Indonesia, and the United States. Its exports reach markets across Europe, the Americas, and Asia.

Manufacturing process

The process includes CAD design engineering, material selection (brass, carbon steel, stainless steel, aluminum, and specialty alloys), tooling and setup, precision machining, and quality control using advanced technology.
