Olive growing and olive oil in Andalusia

Fundación para la Promoción y el Desarrollo del Olivar y del Aceite de Oliva was established in 1990 through an initiative by olive producers alongside public agencies and Andalusian financial institutions. Its work focuses on innovation, knowledge, and promotion of olive growing and olive oil, including technology projects for producers.

EXPOLIVA

The foundation promotes EXPOLIVA, the International Olive Oil and Related Industries Fair. As part of the event, it organizes the Scientific and Technical Symposium and the International Extra Virgin Olive Oil Exhibition.

Funding

The foundation received European Union funding through NextGenerationEU under Spain’s Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan for a self-consumption solar photovoltaic installation. The project is managed by the Government of Andalusia through the Andalusian Energy Agency.
