Imaging and genetic tests with quick appointments

Mi Diagnóstico is Grupo de Salud VIVO's online portal for diagnostic-imaging tests. Customers can book MRI, ultrasound, CT, mammography, and X-ray studies, along with genetic tests and medical consultations, with the stated goal of shortening diagnostic wait times. Online purchasing is connected to the group's own clinics across Spain, as well as mobile units.

Imaging tests

MRI options include knee, brain, spine, and abdominal studies, with open-MRI and single-region options. Ultrasound offerings include general, abdominal, neck, and multi-organ exams. CT scans cover the abdomen, extremities, spine, and head. Mammograms are available as bilateral, unilateral, and tomosynthesis studies. X-rays cover the abdomen, spine, extremities, and chest.

Genetic and laboratory tests

The catalog includes the VIVO PRENATAL noninvasive prenatal test (NIPT), genetic testing for celiac disease, and a 16 sexually transmitted infection test (16-ETS). It also lists nutrition, hormone, body-composition, bone-density, drug-screening, and genetic-prevention tests. These tests can be performed at a clinic or at home and are analyzed in the group's own laboratory.

Medical consultations

The platform sells in-person orthopedic and gynecology appointments and an STI consultation. It also offers a medical prescription before testing for €25 when required, or through its medical team for €15 during checkout.

Booking and turnaround times

Customers choose a test and location. The patient-management team contacts them within 24 business hours to schedule the appointment and sends confirmation by text or email. The company lists typical appointment availability within 24–48 business hours for most studies and results within a maximum of 72 business hours. It says the wait can be shortened to 24 hours for an additional fee. Results can be downloaded from the Patient Portal and shared with a medical professional.

Prices and terms

Prices shown include knee, brain, spine, and abdominal MRIs starting at €110; abdominal ultrasound starting at €38; head or neck CT for €89; and body-composition testing starting at €80. The VIVO PRENATAL NIPT is listed at €390, celiac genetic testing at €110, and the 16-ETS test at €125. Some studies may require contrast, which is paid separately at the clinic on the day of the test for €50.
