About Las Más Explosivas

About Las Más Explosivas

Las Más Explosivas is an independent music chart focused on Latin music in Europe. Launched in November 2017, it publishes a weekly ranking of the 15 most-played Latin songs across Spanish-language genres. The show is hosted by Ginna Tatiana Morera.

How the chart is compiled

The ranking draws on several sources, including clubs, concert openings and events, votes on its own website, listener requests to Latin radio stations, and radio airplay. The weekly tracking period runs Sunday through Friday, and the chart is published on Saturdays.

Its ranking criteria are based on a song’s popularity in major European cities, including Madrid, Barcelona, Paris, Milan, Rome, London, Lisbon, and Amsterdam.

Show format and distribution

  • An independent, two-hour program without commercial breaks.
  • Broadcast live on Saturdays from noon to 2 p.m.
  • Recorded versions are available for partner stations to air at a time that suits their schedules.

Year-end chart

On the last Saturday of each year, the project publishes an annual list covering January through December and highlighting the 30 songs that spent the most time at the top of the chart.

Editorial coverage

The website also publishes music news and updates, with posts about releases by artists such as Jennifer Rojo, Arjona, and Dama, along with ticketing and contact sections.
