El Pentágono — Mazagón

A four-bedroom family-owned beachfront house in Mazagón, shared in rotating turns by eight owners and occasionally opened to invited guests near Doñana National Park.

About El Pentágono — Mazagón

What El Pentágono is

El Pentágono is a four-bedroom house on the beachfront in Mazagón, Huelva. It is a family property built by the grandfather of the Mozo Vargas family when the area was largely pine forest and sand. Today eight owners share it on a rotating schedule, each receiving one week every eight weeks. It is not a commercial vacation rental; owners occasionally invite guests.

Setting

The house is steps from Mazagón beach, near Doñana National Park and La Rábida Monastery, traditionally associated with Christopher Columbus's preparations for his voyage. Destinations highlighted by the family include El Acebuche Visitor Center, Muelle de las Carabelas, Moguer, Punta Umbría, El Rompido, El Rocío and the CEDEA-INTA El Arenosillo rocket research and launch facility.

Access and stays

Stays do not use a conventional tourism-booking system: the owner holding a particular week invites people from their own circle. Published information named September 14–20 as a future opening and asked interested guests to explain their reason for visiting by email, but no year was specified.
