Thesauro Ediciones was founded in 1988 to publish professional directories with national coverage in Spain. It began with print titles such as Thesauro de la Consultoría Empresarial y Jurídica and Guía Española de la Abogacía. Since 1997, it has also operated online through buscadorprofesional.com.

Professional Search Portal

The portal, www.buscadorprofesional.com, connects professionals with users and brings together information on thousands of professionals in six specialized fields:

• Legal: attorneys and court representatives across areas of law and court representation.
• Expert services: professionals and companies that conduct expert assessments.
• Consulting: advisory services in several areas.
• Medicine and health: medical specialists and other health professionals.
• Construction: professionals and companies in the industry.

In addition to listings in the search portal and industry directories, the company offers online presence services for professionals, self-employed people, small and midsize businesses, and large companies. These include responsive website design, Google AdWords search advertising, and LinkedIn management.

History

Key milestones include launching Guía Española de la Abogacía in 1994–1995; starting the portal in 1997; publishing Guía Española de la Medicina in 1998; creating Spain’s first expert witness directory in 2000; signing a cooperation agreement in 2001 with the Council of the Catalan Bar Associations; publishing Guía Española de la Abogacía y Periciales on CD-ROM in 2007; joining social media in 2010; and updating its branding and search system in 2018.
