About Fundación Banús

Cultural legacy in Marbella

Fundación “José Banús Masdeu y Pilar Calvo y Sánchez de León” is a private cultural foundation established in February 1998 for an indefinite term. It was created at the express wish of Pilar Calvo, José Banús's widow, who donated all of her assets after his death to make it possible. The foundation is based in Marbella, near Puerto Banús.

The organization works to preserve the memory and legacy of José Banús through cultural, sports, and tourism initiatives in Marbella. Its work centers on literary creation, music, and sports.
