Coches Menorca

On Menorca, a rental car’s first trip often begins at the airport. Coches Menorca arranges pickup in Parking 1, about a two-minute walk from the terminal, and offers two ways to receive the vehicle: Self Service, with instructions, a digital contract, and the parking spot sent by WhatsApp; or Premium, with a team member meeting the customer and walking them to the car. Skipping a counter is a practical difference for travelers with luggage or anyone hoping to get on the road without a shuttle transfer.

The company behind the service is Talleres Carreras S.A., a Menorca-based automotive business that dates its beginnings to 1990 and reports a fleet of about 250 vehicles. Its website advertises full coverage with no deductible, no deposit or card hold, unlimited mileage, an included additional driver, full-to-full fuel, and roadside assistance. These are the company’s advertised terms; the booking and current conditions should confirm which vehicle and services are available for the selected dates.

The digital process is particularly straightforward for air arrivals: before landing, customers receive the contract and exact parking spot, collect the keys in the lot, and return the car to the designated area. The company says it tracks flight delays and offers overnight pickup through self-service, though availability should be tied to the reservation. Travelers who prefer a face-to-face handoff can choose Premium, subject to its operating terms.

With a car, trips between Maó, Ciutadella, and the island’s coves depend less on transit connections and schedules. Coches Menorca offers support by phone, email, and WhatsApp, along with practical information for getting around the island. Pickup is not at a conventional rental counter: it takes place in the airport’s Parking 1, so save the instructions and review return and fuel rules before setting out.
