Support across different stages of life

Fundació Aspronis is a nonprofit that develops programs, support, and services for people with intellectual and developmental disabilities, other groups facing vulnerability, and their families. Its work aims to improve quality of life and equality.

Services for individuals

The foundation offers a range of services tailored to different needs and stages of life:

• Early-childhood services (CDIAP).
• Day services.
• In-home support.
• Residential services.
• Employment and occupational services.
• Training programs.
• Recreation and vacation programs (Lleure i Vacances).
• Sports.

Services for businesses

Aspronis partners with businesses as a social-services provider and helps employers hire people at risk of exclusion. Its business services include:

• Industrial services.
• Gardening.
• Cleaning.
• Public-space maintenance.
• Industrial laundry.

Employment with a social impact

The foundation offers training and job-integration programs, including Punt Formatiu Incorpora and career-guidance and job-placement services. It recently expanded its SIOAS (Comprehensive Guidance, Coaching, and Support Service) network, a government-funded employment program for people with disabilities or mental health conditions. Two new service locations opened in Tordera and La Plana de la Selva.

Locations and recent activity

The foundation has offices in Malgrat de Mar and opened a new CDIAP in Santa Coloma de Farners. It purchased and renovated the site to better serve young children, with the city government committed to contributing toward facility maintenance. Aspronis has also launched a charitable cava made with Cava Laviret.
