About Restaurante María

A family table with Castilian roots

Restaurante María has been part of Málaga's dining scene since 1993, when Piti and Enrique began serving the kind of traditional, familiar cooking they describe as “eating like at home.” That Castilian point of view gives the restaurant a distinct identity in a coastal city, while northern fish and grilled meats keep the menu open to more than one region.

Among the dishes the restaurant highlights are roast lamb, prepared by order, and its own Paella de María, which guests can enjoy at the restaurant or order for pickup. House-made desserts round out a menu built around familiar recipes and an established family kitchen rather than passing trends.
