Vive Majadahonda

A guide to local plans and businesses

Vive Majadahonda is a local promotion portal managed by the Majadahonda Business Circle. It gives visibility to businesses in the city and helps residents find leisure, food, culture, and children's activities, along with discounts and special offers from local companies.

What the portal offers

• An event and activity calendar for Majadahonda, including leisure, food, culture, and children's activities.
• Special discounts and offers from local businesses, redeemable by showing a coupon at the participating business.
• A regularly updated job board with openings at area businesses; companies can submit listings for publication.
• A blog with news and articles about local business initiatives and city events.

Featured offer: one free hour of parking

The portal promotes a “one free hour of parking” campaign at the Gran Vía underground parking garage, with entrances at Plaza de Colón, Plaza de la Constitución, and Avda. Doctor Calero. The campaign is run by the Business Circle and subsidized by the Majadahonda City Council, which covers 82% of the parking ticket cost. Tickets can be requested by email or WhatsApp, expire after one year, and have no minimum purchase requirement. Customers must ask for the free ticket at participating businesses.

Business membership

Businesses can join the Majadahonda Business Circle. They do not need a storefront open to the public or a physical location in Majadahonda; their primary business activity must take place in the city, so online businesses may also join. Membership costs €13.50 per month, paid quarterly. Members receive information about training, grants, subsidies, taxes, and business promotion and revitalization efforts.
