Experience and History

Founded in Spain in 1980 as PROCI S.A., the company has 46 years of experience. It began expanding internationally in 1994 with the creation of a subsidiary in Mexico, and established PROCICA in Guatemala in 2000 as its base for Central America. Over the years, it has completed automation projects in the Philippines, Guatemala, Chile, Vietnam, Nicaragua, Angola, the United Kingdom, Belize, India, Liberia, and other countries.

PROCISA has worked across a range of industrial sectors, including:

• Water treatment plants, aerobic and anaerobic processes, wastewater treatment, and sludge management.
• Sugar mills using beets or cane and refineries, including evaporation, diffusion, boilers, vacuum pans, clarification, mills, silos, and dryers.
• Refineries, biodiesel and sugar-cane bioethanol plants, alcohol distilleries, and alcohol blending facilities.
• Boiler controls for biomass, gas, fuel oil, and biogas; turbogenerator integration; and hydroelectric plants.
• Chemical manufacturing plants for solids and liquids, towers and post-mixing, bleach plants, fragrance lines, and batch processes.
• Steelmaking, including continuous casting, furnaces and rolling mills, cooling systems, filters, rectifiers, and mills.
• Rice, paper, fertilizer, olive oil, and pomace processing, among other applications.

PROCISA holds official certifications from SIEMENS and ROCKWELL AUTOMATION, global leaders in automation. It also has partnerships with other companies to extend its solutions.
