Company History

1972: acquired its first ripening rooms for bananas and Canary Islands plantains, when Mercamadrid was located at the former slaughterhouse.
1986: moved into Mercamadrid and acquired its first warehouse.
2005: launched the Marielita brand.
2019: expanded its sales area and added facilities for processing and ripening.
2020: opened new warehouses and expanded its ripening, handling, and processing rooms to a total of 50.
2023: launched a new brand focused on avocados, one of its signature products.
