Phercab is a Madrid-based distributor of cables and specialized systems. The company says it has more than 30 years in the market. Its work combines product supply with consulting, project integration, and technical training.

Products

• Security-system cables: for fire detection, intrusion systems, access and presence control, and closed-circuit television.
• Structured cabling: Category 5e, 6, 6A, and 7 UTP and FTP systems, along with cabinets, panels, patch cords, and modules. Certified systems are available at both channel and product levels.
• Industrial cables: for Profibus, Canbus, Fieldbus, Modbus, and industrial Ethernet protocols, including versions resistant to hydrocarbons, armored cables, fire-resistant cables, and halogen-free cables.
• Broadcast: cables for analog and digital television, HDTV, TV studios, and outside broadcast vehicles, including fiber-optic cable for sports broadcasts and touring events.
• Fiber optics: indoor and outdoor, tight-buffered and loose-tube, single-mode and multimode cables, including metal-armored and dielectric-protected versions. The catalog also includes fiber transmitters and receivers and fiber-to-coaxial and fiber-to-twisted-pair media converters.
• Wireless: mesh Wi-Fi solutions with hotspot, triangulation, and device-location features, as well as WiMAX systems designed for continuous 24/7 operation.
• Public address and intercom: cables in different colors to identify circuits or zones, with standard stocked sizes from 0.22 mm² to 4 mm².

Project and Technical Services

Along with distribution, Phercab advises on and integrates infrastructure projects involving alarms, CCTV, fiber optics, local networks, electrical systems, Wi-Fi, WiMAX, 3G and 4G, corporate TCP/IP networks, audio and video, and information and communications technology. The service includes needs analysis, technology selection, draft and final project proposals, development and implementation plans, progress verification, startup assistance, staff training, and follow-up on system performance.

The company also tests and certifies Category 5e, 6, and 6A networks, and performs field and factory fiber-optic cable connections, splicing, and reflectometry.

Training

Phercab provides training in fiber optics, covering the technology and the skills needed to install and connect optical systems, as well as structured cabling, including system design, category selection, and installation and connection techniques and code requirements.
