Battery Distribution and Custom Packs

Sutelco S.A. is a Spanish-owned company established in 1959 that distributes batteries. It imports and sells AGM, gel, and LiFePO4 batteries from Long, First Power, and Long Way, as well as alkaline, nickel-metal hydride (NiMH), and non-rechargeable primary lithium cells for industrial use.

Custom Lithium Battery Manufacturing

Sutelco builds custom lithium battery packs to the voltage and capacity specifications requested by customers, using cells from brands such as Samsung, Panasonic, LG, and Sony. The company has its own welding workshop for this work.

Research and Development: ILEDES Project

With co-funding from the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) and Spain’s Center for the Development of Industrial Technology (CDTI), Sutelco developed the ILEDES project to create a 405-nanometer LED lighting system for disinfecting surfaces with light. The project ran in Madrid from November 2, 2018, through May 2, 2020, with a budget of €232,506.
