About Sastrería Boldrini
What Sastrería Boldrini is
Sastrería Boldrini is a traditional Madrid tailoring workshop founded in 1993 by two tailors described as bringing more than 60 years’ trade experience. Leopoldo de Salinas has led the business since acquiring it from Nemesio and Prudencio in 2020 after training with master tailor Manuel Fernández. The workshop makes bespoke men’s suits and shirts and alters garments.
Services
- Bespoke suits: individually designed and made, including three-piece suits and morning dress, with a typical process of about six weeks.
- Bespoke shirts: made in cotton blends or 100% cotton.
- Alterations: jackets, trousers, morning coats and waistcoats.
The tailor carries Spanish, British and Italian cloths. An initial visit can be made without an appointment, although fittings and hand production extend over several weeks.
How a commission works
The first visit establishes style and purpose, followed by measurements and selection of cloth and cut. The garment is then made and fitted, with delivery advertised at around six weeks.
