About Yothai Bar & Restaurant

Thai cooking near Madrid’s Príncipe Pío

Yothai brings Thai cooking to Cuesta de San Vicente, a short walk from Príncipe Pío and the western edge of Madrid’s historic center. Chef Yothin Phuphuak, who has more than 25 years of experience, leads a kitchen focused on familiar Thai flavors: lime, herbs, curry, coconut, and the balance of heat and acidity that gives the cuisine its range. The restaurant holds the Thai SELECT designation, awarded by Thailand’s government to restaurants serving Thai food abroad.

The menu moves from green papaya salad and satay skewers to pad Thai, wok-fried noodles, curries, and whole fish. Yothai also adds a playful Madrid twist with Thai-inspired pizzas, including pad Thai and green curry versions. The result is a broad, lively menu that works for a quick plate near the transit hub or a shared dinner before an evening in the city.
