About Pastelería Mallorca

A Madrid bakery with a 1931 beginning

Despite its name, Pastelería Mallorca's story begins in Madrid. Bernardino Moreno and María García opened the first shop on Calle de Bravo Murillo in 1931; ensaimadas and torteles from their bakery soon became neighborhood favorites. A second location followed 18 years later, and the business continued to grow while keeping its identity tied to freshly made products from its own baking operations.

The range has widened since those early pastry-shop days. Alongside its classic baked goods, Pastelería Mallorca now includes savory pastries, chocolates, prepared foods, and gourmet products. That evolution makes it more than a stop for a traditional sweet: it is a Madrid bakery whose history can be read in the way its original pastry craft expanded into a much broader food business.
