Financial analysis and professional development

Instituto Español de Analistas is a nonprofit professional association founded in 1965. It brings together financial analysts and other professionals working in asset management, investment advice, private equity, project finance, corporate finance, financial research, and specialized finance education. The organization is part of Fundación CEDE, the Spanish Confederation of Executives and Directors.

Activities and services

The institute describes itself as a meeting place for academic and professional finance. Its work includes:

• Professional certifications such as the CIIA® (Certified International Investment Analyst) and CEFA by EFFAS (Certified European Financial Analyst).
• Online and in-person courses to strengthen analytical skills.
• Publication of Análisis Financiero magazine.
• Financial reports through the Lighthouse platform, including company analysis and Small & Micro Caps reports.
• Events, awards, and recognition of research and professional achievement.

Foundation and international network

Fundación del Instituto Español de Analistas was established in 1991 to take on research, studies, education, and academic support. The institute has been a member of the European Federation of Financial Analysts Societies (EFFAS) since 1966. EFFAS brings together 14 national associations from Germany, Austria, Belgium, Spain, Finland, France, Hungary, Italy, Malta, Norway, Portugal, Romania, Sweden, and Switzerland.
