Fundación Gestión y Participación Social (FGPS) is a nonprofit working to improve the management of social organizations. Its programs focus on training and technical assistance for leaders, members, employees, and volunteers at associations and NGOs, as well as applying new technology to nonprofit management.

Resources and training

• A guide to starting and managing associations, including accounting, taxes, human resources, and projects.
• Online courses and training programs, with certificates and instruction from Third Sector specialists.
• A free newsletter on association management and communications, with more than 10,000 subscribers.
• A blog covering management, communications, legal issues, data protection, and technology for nonprofits.

Other projects

The foundation also runs its own initiatives: Tienda-asociaciones.org, a catalog of management courses; Mi Voluntariado, with volunteering information and resources; and Te Pongo Un Reto / #RedesConCorazón, a project addressing cyberbullying and other online risks and abuse.
