Founded in Madrid in the 1950s, Industrias Huerta is a Spanish manufacturer of metal components, mainly springs and strip-metal parts. The company has more than 50 years of experience, has passed through three generations, and now operates plants in Spain and Poland along with a sales office in Brazil.

Applications include automotive components, aerospace, major and small appliances, electromechanical mechanisms and switchgear, toys, model making, and locksmithing, among others.

History and Development

Industrias Huerta began in Madrid in the 1950s, first serving the telephone industry before expanding into aerospace and motorcycles. In the 1960s, it moved into high- and medium-voltage electrical switchgear, elevators, and automotive applications. It established a strong position in Spain during the 1970s and 1980s. In the 1990s, it adapted to electronic changes in telecommunications, began marketing strip-metal parts, and started expanding into Europe. In 2000, the company tripled in size and began exporting worldwide, especially to Brazil, India, and China. In 2005, it established a plant in Poland to better serve Eastern Europe.

Quality and Certifications

The company has held external certifications for more than a decade, including ISO 9000 and TS 16949 for automotive. Its quality policy emphasizes zero defects and continuous improvement.

Recognition

In 2025, Industrias Huerta, S.A. received a €10,000 grant from the City of Madrid to acquire a computer server and install an ERP system through an industrial-development program.
