Pedro Durán has designed and made silver pieces by hand for more than 130 years. Founder Pedro Durán Morales opened his first silversmith’s workshop on Madrid’s Calle Alfonso XII in 1886. Company history

Pedro Durán’s history includes its 1899 appointment as Supplier to the Royal Household and a move to Calle Santa Isabel 28. In 1905 it became secretary of Spain’s Union of Silverware Manufacturers. The family’s third generation joined in 1944 and the fourth in 1983. The Durán brothers founded Durán Subastas de Arte in 1969. In 1998, a three-story shop opened at Calle Goya 30 in Madrid for jewelry, Swiss watches, silverware, and luxury goods. A silver-jewelry collection launched in 2000, followed in 2010 by Durán Exquse, a sterling-silver jewelry brand using natural stones.
