About Red Española de Audio-Psico-Fonología · Método Tomatis
The Spanish Tomatis Method network
Red Española de Audio-Psico-Fonología is a community of therapists certified in the Tomatis Method, developed by Dr. Alfred Tomatis. The approach focuses on auditory re-education, with the stated goal of supporting concentration, auditory processing, language, and overall well-being. It is offered to children and adults, including people with dyslexia, school difficulties, learning disorders, or communication challenges.
The method is based on the idea that hearing a sound and listening to it are different. Through the “Electronic Ear” and individualized listening programs—including the client’s voice, Mozart’s music, or Gregorian chants—the program aims to support communication, learning, and social interaction. The network has 23 centers across Spain affiliated with FIAPE. Services include an initial listening test, a personalized series of sessions, and support from a certified therapist.
Resources and professional community
The network also provides resources, testimonials, and articles about the method, and has a community for professionals interested in joining. It describes Audio-Psycho-Phonology as a complementary tool and says it does not replace medical diagnoses.
