Escuela de Shiatsu Ameba

About Ameba Shiatsu

Ameba is a Shiatsu training school with teaching centers in Madrid and Zaragoza. Its courses are endorsed by APSE, the Spanish Association of Shiatsu Professionals, and FES, the European Shiatsu Federation. Training combines technical practice with individual support throughout the program.

Structured training

• Introductory course: a weekend workshop covering basic techniques such as palm pressure, stretching, joint rotation, listening to the body and resonance with Qi.
• Foundation course: 190 hours comprising nine in-person weekends, nine in-person practice classes and nine online sessions. Students must submit 80 practice records of at least 20 minutes and receive eight practice treatments from someone with advanced training. The next published intakes run in Madrid and Zaragoza from October 2026 to June 2027.
• Advanced course: deeper energy work with the Extraordinary Vessels and Seiki, the Zen Shiatsu tradition, Traditional Chinese Medicine, women's cycles, therapeutic relationships and professional practice. The next published Zaragoza intake runs from October 2026 to June 2027.
