SmartRental Group

A Madrid-based group managing hotels, apartments, hostels, and longer stays through Akeah, Smartr, Malacuna, and other brands.

About SmartRental Group

A room for a few days, an equipped apartment, and a place to live for longer answer different needs. SmartRental Group works with those distinctions from its Madrid headquarters. It manages hotels, tourist apartments, hostels, coliving, and other accommodation formats, with brands and destinations that distinguish a short trip from an extended stay.

The hotel line includes Akeah Gran Vía Madrid, Akeah Verdi Budapest, Akeah Rosamar Ibiza, and Akeah Porto Centro alongside Broncemar Maspalomas. The selection spans capitals and island destinations. Each name identifies a specific property within a management network, so choosing the brand does not mean booking one hotel with identical branches.

Smartr apartments cover several Madrid neighborhoods: Gran Vía, Chamberí, Chueca, Las Ventas, and Atocha Reina Sofía. Beyond the capital, options include Las Palmas and Corinto Maspalomas, Las Dueñas and Puente de Triana in Seville, Las Ramblas in Barcelona, Málaga Centro, and Valencia Turia. Porto Gaia Spa and Porto Reis de Gaia Spa add Portuguese options. The apartments and studios are presented as equipped accommodation with formats different from a hotel room.

Gran Vía Capital, Gran Vía Centric, and Gran Vía Centric II form another selection of Madrid accommodation. That variety allows a search to be organized by area and format without treating every building as interchangeable. Apartments operate alongside hotels and other spaces within the same group.

Malacuna identifies hostels in Madrid, Barcelona, Manchester, Liverpool, Birmingham, and Peniche. Longer-stay accommodation includes Live it Chamberí and Gran Vía, Live it Gothic, Ramblas, and Liceu, and Live it Málaga. Lemonade is the student residence, while Evoca Santa Pola is presented as a senior-living option. These are different uses, separate from short-term tourist accommodation.

Operations include restaurants, rooftops, events, and experiences. Booking information brings together offers, member discounts, and conditions that depend on the rate. The group distinguishes those channels from residential-living sections, allowing a search to start with the reason for a stay before reaching a specific building.

Central support handles inquiries and bookings from Madrid, while each brand develops its own offering. SmartRental therefore combines a catalog of buildings with different ways of using them: visiting a city, staying with an apartment’s independence, or seeking a longer stay. The connection between destination, duration, and accommodation type is central to its offering.
