Law4you is a multidisciplinary law firm founded in 2020 by Javier Blanchart Escribano, a practicing attorney and member of the Madrid Bar Association. The firm serves individuals, companies, self-employed workers, and small and midsize businesses, working with a group of professionals who specialize in different areas of law.

About the founder

Javier Blanchart has 25 years of legal-advisory experience. He spent 15 years at PwC Legal and Tax, advising Spanish and international companies in fields including aerospace, land transportation, tourism, and renewable energy. He also served as secretary of the Spanish-Swedish Chamber of Commerce, has spoken at conferences, and has published articles on the liability of company directors and executives.

Business services

  • Company formation: advice on corporate structure; handling the process through registration with the Commercial Registry; drafting bylaws; preparing powers of attorney; and completing filings with Spain’s Tax Agency (CIF tax ID, census registration, and business-activity registration).
  • Corporate law: legal due diligence; preparing and reviewing business plans and contracts with customers, suppliers, partners, and employees; shareholder agreements; changes to bylaws; capital increases; mergers and acquisitions; dissolution; and liquidation.
  • Intellectual and industrial property: registering trademarks, trade names, patents, inventions, and industrial designs with the Spanish Patent and Trademark Office, the European Union Intellectual Property Office (EUIPO), and the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO), including through the Madrid System.
  • Employment advice: dismissals, collective redundancy and temporary layoff processes (ERES and ERTES), claims before employment proceedings, and representation at SMAC conciliation hearings.
  • Insolvency advice: pre-insolvency proceedings, filing for insolvency, representation and defense, directors’ liability, creditor arrangements, and liquidation.
  • Aviation law: advice for airlines, suppliers, ground-handling companies, and airport operators such as AENA, including filings with the Aircraft Registry and Spain’s State Aviation Safety Agency (AESA).

  • Real estate transactions involving apartments, buildings, industrial facilities, and commercial spaces, including notarial filings, local, regional, and national taxes, and Property Registry matters.
  • Inheritance and gifts: notarial filings, tax matters, and Property Registry matters.
  • General legal advice: leases, insurance and banking contracts, and consumer rights.
  • Immigration: residence-permit applications and renewals, citizenship procedures, NIE applications and renewals, and online filings.
  • Golden Visa: review of investment options and support throughout the process, before and after an investment.

Notarial and administrative support

The firm works with several notary offices in Madrid to advise on and process deeds for real estate transactions, inheritances, mortgage cancellations, and personal-property registrations for businesses and individuals.
