About E-Iure

An international network of independent law firms

E-Iure is an international network of independent law firms in different countries. It began with the goal of connecting Europe and Latin America and has grown into a global network. It is legally constituted as an association under Spanish law, with headquarters in Madrid.

How the network works

The network follows a country-level exclusivity rule: it accepts only one member firm per country, with each firm serving as the network’s local reference in its jurisdiction. The organization says it operates worldwide with 18 official national members, although another section of its website lists 22 member firms. Each member firm also works with a network of trusted correspondents in other countries, allowing a client who consults a local firm to access legal advice abroad.

Clients and legal services

The network serves corporations, companies, private clients, and public authorities seeking legal advice and representation in cross-border matters. Member firms include practices in Spain, Portugal, Germany, Austria, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, Italy, Poland, Bulgaria, Turkey, Brazil, and Mexico, among other countries.

Activities and publications

The network coordinates activities among its members, holds two conferences each year, and publishes cross-border guides and compilations. Publications include a compendium, reissued annually from 2005 through 2015, on corporate, tax, foreign investment, employment, and real estate law across more than 20 jurisdictions, as well as guides on agency agreements and fundraising. Recent conventions took place in New York (February 2025), Istanbul (September 2025), and Casablanca (January 2026).

Membership

Law firms apply to join, subject to the jurisdiction exclusivity rule: an application is not accepted if a firm of the same nationality is already a member.
