Learning and developmental support

CADE, Centro de Atención a la Diversidad Educativa, provides assessments and treatment for school-age children with learning disabilities and neurodevelopmental conditions. Its areas of focus include attention-deficit/hyperactivity disorder (ADHD), dyslexia, specific language impairment (SLI), and nonverbal learning disorder (NVLD), among others. The organization also guides families to support a child’s independence, school performance, and family well-being.

History and team

CADE began in 1999 in connection with Fundación Educación Activa and became a company in 2005. It currently lists five centers: four in the Madrid region (Aravaca, Madrid, Alcobendas, Getafe, and Valdebebas) and one in Segovia. Its team includes more than 70 health and education professionals. The website says it has served approximately 8,836 families. Its directors are Beatriz Cicuéndez and José Ramón Gamo, who also serves as technical director of the centers.

In-person and online care

In addition to in-person appointments at its centers, CADE offers remote services through CADE Online, including initial consultations, assessments, treatment, training, and online psychology. The company also operates Activamind Salud Mental, a Madrid-based service line providing psychology for adults with a focus on ADHD.
