About Aaron Zhu

Business, technology, and operations

Aaron Zhu is an independent professional based in Madrid whose work sits at the intersection of business, technology, and operations. He works in three areas: building projects from scratch, including ventures, products, and business models; advising companies and entrepreneurs on strategy, operations, and international business; and developing systems, internal tools, and AI-enabled workflows adapted to how each business actually operates.

Europe–China specialization

A central part of his work involves business between Europe and China. Zhu says he grew up between Chinese and Spanish contexts, and that this dual perspective informs how he understands organizations and markets. One of his projects, ChiaoLink, is presented as an external operations layer for companies working between Europe and China.

Projects and areas of work

  • ChiaoLink: Business operations for companies working between Europe and China.
  • Operations System: An internal operating system in development connecting companies, documents, operations, data, and artificial intelligence.
  • NoMo: An AI-based product experiment focused on personal relationship memory.
  • Other areas under exploration include retail, food operations, procurement systems, and previous ventures.

Publications

He has published two books in Spanish: Disonancia relacional (ISBN 978-84-09-62085-7), about the gap between what is said and what another person understands, and El sufrimiento de unos es el placer de otros (ISBN 978-84-09-62045-1), an essay on the invisible costs of what is considered normal. He also publishes essays and short notes on technology, software, and organization.

Who he works with

He works with businesses, entrepreneurs, and people building something, whether they need to structure an idea or market, solve a difficult operational problem, or manage operations and sourcing between Europe and China.
