Gaima S.A. (Galaica Importadora de Maquinaria)

Machinery for Gardens, Forestry, and Agriculture

Gaima, whose corporate name is Galaica Importadora de Maquinaria, S.A., is based in Lugo, Spain, and distributes machinery and accessories for forestry, gardening, home gardens, and agriculture. It sells equipment under its own Camon brand, which the company says has international recognition, and also distributes products from other manufacturers. Its business covers product development, distribution, and after-sales service.

Product Catalog

The company organizes its offering into two main ranges:

• Garden and forestry: wood chippers, shredders, lawn mowers, hedge trimmers, brush cutters, scarifiers, pressure washers, chainsaws, edgers, robotic lawn mowers, blowers, tractors, and battery-powered pruning tools.
• Home garden and agriculture: augers, sprayers, carts, generators, mills, tillers, water pumps, electric fencing systems, and olive harvesters.

The website also lists a Simplicity line with rear-roller floating-cut technology, along with battery-powered shears, chainsaws, tying tools, and telescoping poles.

Customers and Sales Channel

Gaima serves dealers and industry professionals and offers a dealer locator to help users find places to buy its products. A dealer-access area on the website reflects its primary sales channel: a reseller network rather than direct retail sales to end customers.

After-Sales Service and Documentation

The company provides technical and sales materials, including catalogs, price lists in Spanish and Portuguese, and an exploded-view parts finder. It also offers technical assistance and after-sales service, which it highlights as part of its business.
