Industrial Combustion Burners
Tekener S.A., based in Loiu, Biscay, manufactures combustion burners for liquid and gaseous fuels. Its main customers are boiler manufacturers, engineering firms, and gas installers. The company has its own engineering department, allowing it to develop electrical control panels and consoles for burner operation, as well as integrated boiler-and-burner projects.
Company History
Tekener opened in 1965 and began by serving Spain’s burner market before expanding nationally. Fifteen years later, it entered international markets. In 1994, it became an independent company under the name TEKENER, S.A. Milestones highlighted by the company include beginning production of Monobloc burners in 1987, expanding production of Industrial Separated burners (IB) in 1990, opening its first overseas sales office in 1995, and opening a sales branch in Portugal in 1999. It received ISO 9001:2015 certification in 2020, launched the Sentinel system in 2021, and introduced hydrogen burners in 2023.

The company’s low-NOx burners reduce pollutant formation through flue-gas recirculation, and its Low-NOx range has been expanded to meet current regulations.

Tekener provides engineering for the thermal-energy sector, electrical installation and permitting, ongoing communication from order confirmation through burner startup, and technical assistance and after-sales service. It works with branches, distributors, and authorized service providers in major provinces across Spain.
Quality and Certifications
In 1998, the company began a continuous-improvement process based on the EFQM Excellence Model. It received ISO 9001:2015 certification in 2020.
