About Logrotex, S.A.

Industrial Nonwoven Manufacturing

Logrotex, S.A. is based in Logroño, La Rioja, Spain, and was established in 1955 as a small family business. It initially reclaimed wool and cotton rags to make recovered fiber and related products. In 1989, the company converted its facilities to manufacture nonwoven fabrics for different industries.

Operations and Capacity

Logrotex designs and manufactures industrial webs and felts. Its installed capacity allows it to produce more than 18 million square meters of nonwoven fabric per year. Materials include needle-punched and thermobonded nonwovens made from natural fibers (cotton, wool, linen, hemp, jute, and coconut); organic fibers such as organic cotton; recycled and virgin synthetics (polypropylene, polyester, polyethylene, and viscose); and technical fibers (aramids, pre-oxidized, conductive, water-repellent, and flame-retardant fibers). Needle-punched products range from 90 to 2,000 g/m², and thermobonded products from 200 to 3,000 g/m². Additional treatments include calendering, resin coating, flame retardancy, and water repellency.
