García Gonzalo Maderas S.A. has sold lumber since 1965, with roots dating to 1945, when the business worked in forestry and sold logs to sawmills. Today it sells a broad range of solid wood, panels, and semi-finished wood products.

Customers and Capacity
The company serves sawmills, door and flooring manufacturers, carpenters, and individual customers. It has its own vehicle fleet, more than 7,000 square meters of covered warehouse space, and a total 52,000-square-meter site for wood sales and storage. It responsibly imports a range of species and maintains a large inventory of lumber.
Quality Control
Product inspection begins when materials arrive from international producers and includes visual and physical checks. The company says it monitors factors such as durability, density, hardness, and moisture content from the source.
Sustainability
García Gonzalo Maderas has installed a photovoltaic system for on-site use with energy storage, with support from the European Union.
