Salut Mental Ponent

Mental health support in the Lleida region

Salut Mental Ponent is a nonprofit based in Lleida that has supported people living with severe mental health conditions and their families across the Lleida region for more than 30 years. It is recognized as an organization of public benefit.

Services and programs

• Welcome and family support: Initial contact and ongoing support for individuals and the people close to them.
• Social and psychological care: Individual and group emotional and psychological support tailored to each person's needs.
• Community inclusion: Social, recreational, and participation spaces that help reduce isolation.
• Employment inclusion: Training and support toward work.
• Housing: Help with independent living.
• Correctional facilities: Support for people with mental health conditions in the correctional system.
• Advocacy and public education: Community awareness and efforts to reduce stigma.

Recognition

In 2017, Lleida City Council recognized Fruits de Ponent and Gelats GLAS as Solidarity Businesses of 2017, following a nomination by Salut Mental Ponent for their support of events such as World Mental Health Day.
