Associació de Paraplègics i Discapacitats Físics de Lleida (ASPID) is a social-economy organization based in Lleida. It works to improve quality of life for people with disabilities and people facing social vulnerability by providing personalized tools and support for their development, independence, and self-advocacy.

Main services

• Employment: career guidance, job openings, entrepreneurship support, and job-placement services.
• Personal care and independence: personal and in-home assistance, daytime services, and a community lending bank for assistive products.
• NeuroLleida: functional neurorehabilitation for children and adults, including a child and youth neurodevelopment unit and programs for neuro-prevention and healthy aging.
• Support for traffic-crash survivors: INVICTES provides psychological support and peer-support groups.
• Children, young people, and families: social and educational services, family guidance and support, and educational mentoring.
• Business services: recruiting, human-resources services, corporate social responsibility partnerships, and services through a special employment center, including call-center work for businesses and public agencies.

Other activities

ASPID also promotes public awareness through awards, technical conferences, and a sports club. It has a rights-advocacy program and member-participation groups. People can join, volunteer, or donate.
