About Auró Natura
Residential and day services
Auró Natura is a residential care and day center for people with support needs and disabilities, located in Llanera, Lleida. It provides daily care and, according to the organization, follows a care model intended to minimize the impact of standardized health protocols.
Main services
- Residential home and day center: daily care for people with support needs and disabilities.
- Family respite: services for people with disabilities or mental health conditions, with outdoor and animal-based activities.
- Therapies: individualized care, guidance, support, and professional intervention during significant life events.
Approach and setting
The center uses Green Cares, a European methodology its team learned in London with Thrive. It bases therapeutic work on a person’s biological connection with nature. The project was designed and built around universal accessibility, including emotional and cognitive accessibility.
The grounds include gardens and a sensory garden, a pool with an entry ramp, a fenced activity area, a shelter for rescued animals, and seven hectares of private woodland.
