History and Expansion

Lesa’s history dates to 1966 in León and builds on the company Manuel de la Riva Hnos., which had operated since 1958. Lesa initially sold fertilizers, seeds, and grain and manufactured compound animal feed, a business it later left. Over the years, it invested in expanding its infrastructure network, including facilities in Tordesillas, Santa María del Páramo, La Bañeza, Villadangos, El Burgo Ranero, Osorno, Tamariz, Laguna de Negrillos, San Martín del Camino, and Valdesandinas. In 1996, the entry of S.A. Mirat and Grupo de Negocios Duero, S.A.U. as shareholders led to the creation of the subsidiary Logística de Lesa, S.A.U. and further investment.

Infrastructure and Service Area

Lesa operates an extensive network of company-owned warehouses and partner centers that distribute products and purchase, receive, and store fertilizers and grain. This network serves farmers in the provinces of León, Palencia, Valladolid, and Zamora.
