Programs for independence and inclusion

Fundación AFIM (Ayuda, Formación, Integración y Motivación) is a private nonprofit charitable foundation headquartered in Las Rozas, Madrid. Its programs serve young people, older adults, and people with physical, intellectual, sensory, and mental disabilities.

Areas of work

• Training: A range of free courses for members through its online campus.
• Employment: A job-placement agency helping unemployed people with and without disabilities find work, with individualized support in Valencia and Salamanca.
• Independent living: Personal autonomy promotion services (SEPAP) in Salamanca.
• Cognitive support: A specialized unit in Valencia that works to prevent, assess, and treat cognitive decline associated with neurodevelopmental disorders; it has operated for more than six years.
• Day center: Comprehensive services for people with intellectual and significant disabilities in Murcia.
• Workshops: A self-determination and social-participation program that has been running for 12 years.
• Events: Mundialito por la Inclusión, an inclusive, charitable sports event for all ages.
