Animal Reproductive Technology

KUBUS manufactures technology for artificial insemination in animals, with products intended to improve productivity and the work of staff at insemination centers and pig farms. Its operations combine equipment and consumables manufacturing with technical consulting and training.

Products and Equipment

• Semen extenders: MR-A®, MR-A® Antiox, Predil® MR-A®, Sperm Guardian®, BTS, and MR-A® Anticontamination, made under Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
• Ultrasound scanners: MKS Pro with microconvex, convex, linear, and rectal probes; W3 and W4 with wireless probes that connect to a smartphone or tablet, with a tag reader on the W4; and Fatscan for measuring backfat and marbling.
• Semen-dose packaging machines: automatic QS1000 (1,000 doses per hour; cuts, fills, seals, and labels), semi-automatic QS500 (500 doses per hour), and manual QS Handy.
• Containers and consumables: QS Bag blisters made of pure polyethylene, 90 ml and 45 ml bottles, and 90 ml insemination tubes with easy-open tips.
• Management software: BSM® (Boar Stud Manager) for management, data analysis, and connectivity with equipment at insemination centers; and OCSA® computer-assisted semen analysis software.

Services

The company offers technical consulting, advisory services, training, and laboratory services. Its catalog also includes products for rabbits, foxes, dogs, sheep, cattle, and horses.

KUBUS has commercial representatives for several territories: North America (Sofía Martín); Central and South America (Rafael Pallás); Spain and Portugal (Juan Mazo); Northern and Central Europe (Ingunn Nygaard); and China and Vietnam/Asia-Pacific (Santiago Martín).
