Industrial Plant Engineering

Founded in 1973, Industrias Leblan engineers, manufactures, and commissions industrial facilities. Its work is organized into four areas: environmental services, including waste treatment and recovery; aggregates; concrete; and general industry. The company develops turnkey projects and adapts each installation to the customer’s needs, covering every project stage.

• Environmental: municipal solid-waste treatment; packaging-sorting plants; composting; energy recovery; organic-matter treatment; compost-refining lines; glass recovery; construction and demolition waste; refuse-derived and solid recovered fuel plants; metal recovery; industrial and commercial waste treatment; and soil remediation.
• Aggregates and concrete: fixed and mobile concrete plants; aggregate-production and washing plants; soil-cement plants; screening, crushing, and conveying systems.
• Industrial: biomass-preparation plants; slag treatment; incinerator-ash treatment and stabilization; bulk loading; storage systems; and machinery for ceramic-industry processes.
• Machinery: conveyors, ejection bins, bag openers and shredders, trommels, ballistic separators, feeders, bottle puncturers, bucket elevators, screw conveyors, weighing equipment, clarifiers, hoppers, air filtration, filter presses, silos, dewatering screens, magnetic detection and separation, and hydrocyclones.

Services

Leblan provides an integrated service covering engineering—process definition, plant design, manufacturing drawings, detailed engineering, and structural calculations; manufacturing—including welding, metal fabrication, machining, painting, and factory assembly; installation—mechanical and electrical work, controls, commissioning, and performance testing; and after-sales technical advice and spare-parts support.

Facilities and International Reach

The company’s corporate offices and production center are in La Puebla de Alfindén, Zaragoza, Spain, on a 44,000-square-meter site. It has branches in the United States and Poland and develops projects on five continents.

Certifications and Featured Projects

Industrias Leblan lists ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, EN 1090-1 EXC2, and ISO 3834-2:2021 certifications. It took part in an EU–ERDF-funded R&D project to improve efficiency at municipal solid-waste treatment facilities. It also installed a 176.54 kW photovoltaic self-consumption system in La Puebla de Alfindén under Spain’s Recovery, Transformation, and Resilience Plan.
