Oleohidráulica Española SA (Olesa) is a Spanish hydraulic cylinder manufacturer specializing in truck cylinders. The company has more than 50 years in the hydraulic industry and says it has installed more than 5 million cylinders. It makes large production runs for truck manufacturers and smaller batches for body builders and distributors, and develops custom hydraulic systems for heavy machinery, marine, and steel applications.

Products and Systems

The catalog is organized into several product families:

• Hydraulic cylinders: single-extension direct-push cylinders; cylinders with domed ends; spherical-joint cylinders for rigid trucks; front-mounted, twin, and internal cylinders for rigid trucks; ISO 6022 cylinders; progressive cylinders; and double-acting telescopic cylinders.
• Pumps: piston and gear pumps; M2 and M3 hydro-pneumatic intensifier pumps; pumping units for tractor units and rigid trucks; 2,000 W and 4,500 W electric pumps; and self-contained pumping units.
• Oil tanks: side-mounted truck tanks and behind-cab tanks.
• Loading and lifting systems: axle-lift assemblies, roller loading systems, standard and compensated roof-lifting systems, hydraulic ramp-lifting systems, and moving-floor systems.
• Valves and accessories: rear-door opening valves; tailgate opening valves with pneumatic latches; safety valves; 150-liter and two- and three-way monoblock valves; hydraulic and pneumatic limit switches; pneumatic controls; and Olfix tie-downs for truck dump bodies.

Customers and Engineering

Olesa works with truck manufacturers, body builders, and distributors, offering production runs ranging from high-volume orders to small batches. Its research and development department focuses on more efficient and environmentally friendly cylinders.
