Sirvent Almendras, S.A. is a family-run company with more than a century of history in almond processing. Its work includes sizing, sorting, blanching, and industrial processing, with production capacity geared toward supplying other food manufacturers.

Customers and markets

The company serves nougat makers, confectioners, chocolate makers, and roasters—in other words, industrial and artisan businesses that use almonds as an ingredient.

Facilities and location

Its facility is at Polígono Industrial de Segorb, s/n, 03100 Jijona/Xixona, Alicante, Spain. The site was renovated to improve service. The company has installed solar systems for on-site consumption rated at 85.56 kWp and 63.48 kWp, as well as a biomass boiler, with support from the NextGenerationEU program administered by IVACE.

Quality and certifications

The company received support for organic production certification (file AGCEO/2023/650) from the Regional Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock, and Fisheries of the Valencian Government, indicating that it also works with organically produced almonds.
