Programación TV

About this website

Programación TV is an unofficial information site published in Spain that reviews and compares file and disk encryption software. Its content focuses on Trust Vault (tvault.app) and compares it with tools such as VeraCrypt, BitLocker, Cryptomator, AxCrypt, 7-Zip, and NordLocker.

The website explicitly identifies itself as unofficial and notes that the trademarks and software it mentions belong to their respective owners.

What it covers

• Individual profiles of Trust Vault, VeraCrypt, BitLocker, Cryptomator, AxCrypt, 7-Zip, and NordLocker.
• Side-by-side comparisons of Trust Vault with each of the other programs.
• A general comparison chart covering encryption type, open-source status, local or cloud operation, Shamir secret sharing, integrity verification, supported operating systems, mobile apps, and starting price.
• Frequently asked questions about local encryption, lost passwords, supported systems, and free access.

Editorial approach

The site highlights Trust Vault as its featured option, describing it as a local encrypted-vault tool with AES-256, Shamir secret sharing, HMAC integrity verification, an open-source core (tvault-core), and an app built with Tauri. It also says there is no single best program for every user: it recommends VeraCrypt or BitLocker for full-disk encryption and Cryptomator for cloud-focused encryption.

The comparison data is presented as a guide compiled in 2026, and the site notes that each program's features may change between versions.
