Farmacontigo

What Farmacontigo is

Farmacontigo is an information website, not a pharmacy or health service. It explains ways to find nearby pharmacies that appear open, primarily through Google Maps on a phone or computer and through the websites of Spain's provincial official pharmacist associations.

What it offers

• Step-by-step Google Maps searches using “Open now” and directions.
• Desktop-search instructions with filters for rating, price and hours.
• Links to provincial pharmacist associations across Spain, including A Coruña, Álava, Almería, Asturias, Ávila, Badajoz, the Balearic Islands, Barcelona, Cáceres, Cantabria, Castellón, Ceuta, Girona, Jaén, Lleida, Lugo, Melilla, Murcia, Ourense, Pontevedra and Tarragona.

Scope and limitations

The site states that it is unofficial, is not connected with a pharmacy or public administration and has no legal authority. It publishes neither a phone number nor a street address; communication is through a website form.

For a current duty-pharmacy schedule or urgent need, users should verify the result with the pharmacy, provincial professional association or local health authority because map hours can be incomplete.
