What DeVuego is

DeVuego is a nonprofit database devoted to Spain's video-game industry. Created by Yova Turnes and active since 2013, it organizes information about games, development studios, service companies, associations, events, specialist media, education, research and professional resources.

Database content

The structured catalog explores the Spanish gaming ecosystem from several directions:

• Games: recent and forthcoming releases, calendar, press reviews, trending, highest-rated, best-selling and most anticipated titles
• Industry: national map, studios, service companies, developers, associations, people and events
• Jobs and talent: openings, job seekers, talent hiring and a hiring map
• Education and research: schools, academic papers and archive
• Press and media: review aggregator, Spanish outlets, communicators and streamers
• Content and archive: interviews, books, press releases, documentaries and soundtracks
• Resources: outsourcing companies, grants, Spanish indie publishers, voice actors and dictionary
• Statistics: annual figures, activity, public funding, hiring maps and rankings

Community features

Registered users can create and manage a verified profile, personalize their experience and participate in community activity. A free weekly newsletter covers press releases, launches, events and trends. Support and communication channels include Telegram, X, Instagram, LinkedIn and YouTube.

Funding and license

The project is supported by patrons through Patreon, PayPal and Ko-fi and by T-shirt sales. Its content is published under the Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike 4.0 International license.
