Mecasonic manufactures ultrasonic welding and cutting solutions. The company reports more than 10,000 completed projects and is part of the Crest Group, whose centers of excellence it uses to train its technical staff.

Engineering Capabilities

Mecasonic supports the full project cycle, including feasibility studies, project management, 2D and 3D design, finite-element simulation, electrical design, and programming. It has an engineering office and test laboratory working with several technologies:

In-House Production

The company has an integrated production workshop and makes its own sonotrodes rather than outsourcing them. Its processes include 3D printing, five-axis CNC milling, CNC turning with a Y-axis, laser engraving, and acoustic testing on a test bench.

After-Sales Service

After-sales support includes remote and on-site assistance, genuine replacement parts, certified repairs, inspections and calibrations, and on-site acceptance testing (SAT). Technical staff receive regular training at Crest Group centers.
