Embarba is an international company founded in 1963. It designs, manufactures, installs, repairs, modernizes, and maintains elevators, lifts, freight elevators, escalators, and accessibility equipment. The company says it designs, manufactures, and installs more than 1,000 vertical-transportation units each year and maintains a service portfolio of 30,000 units, about 5,000 of which are made by other brands.

Embarba’s headquarters cover more than 40,000 square meters and include warehouses, factories, repair shops, offices, an R&D department, and test towers for verifying products before they go to market. It reports more than 100 branches in Spain and internationally and a workforce of 800 covering Spain nationwide.

Maintenance plans

Embarba specializes in maintaining elevators, escalators, garage doors, and other vertical-transportation equipment across brands. It says it invests more than 20,000 hours a year in technical training. Its service levels include:

• Premier: preventive maintenance, 24-hour breakdown response, liability insurance, and technical and legal advice.
• Premier Plus: Premier service plus 80% corrective coverage, including maintenance and repairs with replacement parts.
• Platinum: Premier Plus with full corrective coverage and maintenance focused on energy efficiency.

Maintenance is available throughout Spain, serving private homes, condominium communities, transit centers, and large companies.

Quality and certification

The company says its quality-management system for elevator design, manufacturing, and installation complies with the EU Elevators Directive 2014/33/EU, Annex XI (Module H1). It also states that it holds the required administrative authorizations to develop and maintain lifting equipment.
