Transportes Cabrera is a family-owned company founded by Salvador Cabrera in 1966 and based in Huércal-Overa, Almería. It provides domestic and international full-truckload refrigerated road transport. The second and third generations of the Cabrera family now work in the business.

Services

• Exports: full truckloads from Spain to Europe, primarily Scandinavia and northern Germany.
• Imports: full truckloads of perishable and nonperishable goods and ADR-regulated products from Scandinavia, northern Germany, and the Netherlands to France and Spain.
• Domestic transport: full truckloads of perishable and nonperishable goods and ADR-regulated products from northern Spain, Catalonia, and Madrid to Andalusia and the Levante region.

Fleet and Facilities

The company has 200 company-owned refrigerated trucks, which it renews annually. All vehicles have GPS and temperature-recording systems, can transport two temperature zones, and are equipped for ADR-regulated goods and pharmaceuticals. Its Huércal-Overa facilities include offices, a repair shop, fuel pumps, a truck wash, and truck parking.

Certifications and Sustainability

Transportes Cabrera holds IFS Logistics and GDP (Good Distribution Practice) certifications for transporting sensitive goods. It also received European Union NextGenerationEU funding for a 50.00 kWn / 56.50 kWp solar-generation project, with €12,853.75 in financial support administered by the Andalusian regional government through the Andalusian Energy Agency.
